D3O® Returns to Eurobike 2025 with New Partners, Products, and Protection Technology.
Frankfurt, Germany (25th June, 2025)– D3O®, the global leader in protection, returns to Eurobike this year to showcase its latest advanced material technology developed for both mountain and now road bike safety and comfort. This year, the brand’s unmistakable orange impact protection and anti-vibration technology will be featured in new collaborations with industry leaders, expanding into more categories to enhance rider performance and protection.
Collaboration with Specialized
D3O introduces its partnership with Specialized through the development of an innovative new knee guard. The Traction D3O® Knee Guard is the result of a four-year collaboration between material engineers and designers at the D3O lab, and the Specialized Body Geometry Team. The Knee guard is built to support movement and has a unique geometrical impact printed pattern, designed to expand and contract with the knee as you pedal to give riders the perfect combination of flexibility, comfort, and impact protection.
A Debut with Dakine
Adding to its growing roster of partnerships, D3O will be showing its first product with Dakine – the all-new Slayer Pro D3O® Glove. Featuring D3O® Ghost™ knuckle protection, the Slayer Glove offers lightweight, flexible and breathable impact protection against branches and rocks without compromising grip, or handlebar feel or control.
Continued Developments in Vibration Reduction
Building on its success in handlebar grips with ODI’s launch of the Vanquish Grips in 2024, D3O’s vibration-damping technology continues to expand into road and gravel cycling. This year the latest handlebar protection includes a new road and gravel bike grip tape, designed to absorb high-frequency vibrations from rough tarmac as well as six new Vanquish colour ways.
The vibration reducing material is now being utilised in footwear. Inspired by the company’s work with Formula 1 teams, where similar materials reduce performance-hindering vibrations, this new underfoot application minimizes numbness, aching, and fatigue in the feet and legs, helping riders stay comfortable for longer rides.
The Fox Union BOA and Ride Concept Hellion BOA are the first shoes to integrate the new vibration-damping material, significantly reducing the fatigue caused by riding on rough terrain. The D3O material is strategically placed within the insole at main points of contact between the foot and the pedal to reduce the effect of bumps and vibrations, allowing wearers to ride for longer with less fatigue.
Expanding Protection with Troy Lee Designs and Oakley
D3O’s lightweight, flexible Diablo limb protectors will now be available in Troy Lee Designs’ new Stage Pro and Speed Pro protective garments, set to launch later this summer. As the lightest limb protectors on the market, Diablo’s tri-ventilation geometric design enhances breathability and comfort, while its ergonomic curvature ensures a secure fit that contours to the wearer's joints, preventing slippage and delivering reliable, high-performance protection.
Additionally, Oakley has integrated D3O’s ultra-slim Ghost protection technology into its new Drop In D3O® Full Impact Shirt. Designed to conform to the body, these lightweight, flexible protectors offer maximum comfort, enabling freedom of movement, so riders can push their limits with confidence.
Through new partnerships with top industry brands and continued innovations in impact and vibration protection, D3O continues to pioneer new technology to enhance performance and safety for mountain bikers at every level.
